EQUINE PROGRAMS

The foundation's equine programs provide a beautiful setting for hope, encouragement, and happiness for people to experience a better life.. Many of our rescue horses encounter the full circle by first receiving help from our rescue, and in turn, are now helping people realize their full potential.

Woman's Home Front
Come be part of Woman’s Home Front for our inaugural kickoff through an exciting and inspiring equine experience in nature.  Horses are magical animals and mirror human emotion.  They are an incredible way for us to experience being grounded and present while honoring our feelings and the feelings of others.  Following our work with the horses we will have a support group where all voices are welcome while we picnic under the trees.

Big Brothers & Big Sisters Program
The Hogan Family Foundation is supporting Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Ventura County by providing children and their mentors an equine experience to enrich their lives.  Through encouraging guidance, recreation, and support we are dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives.

Horses on the Homefront Riding Program
The Horses on the Homefront program is designed to benefit the Ventura County children of deployed active duty military personnel. The program is designed to teach the children basic horse care and handling, as well as, beginning riding lessons that provide them with the foundation skills of good horsemanship. St. Francis Rangers Program

The St. Francis Rangers Program helps children build increased confidence and self esteem through Equestrian Education. This program provides hands-on experience for disadvantaged children in our community as they learn to ride and care for horses. Participation in the program gives the children a greater appreciation for the ecology, environment, fellowship, and discipline of a productive life, while teaching them compassion and respect for all of God's creatures, large and small.

Casa Pacifica Equestrian Education Program
We are working with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Ventura County chapter to provide a unique equine experience to enrich the lives of CASA’s children in Ventura County.  If you are a CASA volunteer, please click here to learn more.

ARC
The foundation is working with ARC, adults with mental challenges, to provide a therapeutic equine experience for their patients in a serene, beautiful setting. Many of ARC's patients have realized the benefits of our equine program and have shown significant improvements.

Physically & Mentally Abused Women
We are honored to provide equine therapy for physically and mentally abused women of Southern California. The women have made tremendous progress and are enjoying themselves in our ranch setting while receiving the many benefits of our equine therapy programs.
